Daniel Rockefeller

Daniel Rockefeller, age 55 of Bad Axe, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 peacefully at his home. He was born on August 28, 1966 in Bad Axe, son of Lawrence and Josephine (Schember) Rockefeller. He married Dawn Osentoski on April 20, 1991 in Bad Axe. Daniel is survived by his wife, Dawn Rockefeller of Bad Axe. One daughter, Katelyn (Jeremyah) Foster of Caro. One granddaughter, Ridley Foster of Caro. Parents, Lawrence and Josephine Rockefeller of Owendale. Two brothers, Brian (Terri) Rockefeller of Ubly and Tony (Teresa) Rockefeller of Pigeon. Daniel was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents Uncles, Edwin Schember, Clare Schember and Dale Schember. Aunts, Betty Miller, Erlene Powell and Jackie “Jack” Deibel. In-laws, Mary “Jan” Rogers and Ronald Osentoski. Daniel was a simple man with a big heart. He was kind, goofy and caring. He was a devoted husband, son, and a loving father and grandfather. Dan enjoyed being outside in the yard, playing softball and challenging his daughter at bowling. He was a faithful attendee of his local church, and a dedicated employee at Thumb Tool & Engineering as a Custodian/Machinist for 39 years. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11 am at the Evangel Life Assembly of God Church in Bad Axe. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 1 -5 pm at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe or Monday at the church from 10 am until the service time at 11 am.
